So was your first marriage, but you didn't let that stop you from doing it again, did you? And look how happy you are now...
Not having a backyard pool helped keep this marriage strong...

His wife doesn't want to go outside the range of acceptable travel for fellow swingers to come calling. Nobody will see their pineapple out in the sticks.

what you don't recall from that was

IT WAS A HUGE FUCKING MISTAKE!

I got fired 6 months into it (along with 800 other people), was losing my shit for about 2 months thinking I'd lose my house, was traveling 5 days a weeks. I was also 33 years old then.

I have to admit though, I like the idea of doing a series of youtube videos on it

Wife woke up this morning with cold feet , she already feels overwhelmed at it. Its a hot and cold thing every day

It didn't help when we met with a realtor yesterday and he told us "most people are trying to get where you live now, not out of it"
I remember. That was hilarious.

I was telling the kids at dinner last night that we'd wouldn't be making weekly runs to Costco or Sams.

You didn't know that? He wore wedges in his shoes, had everything built to give him an elevated standing position, etc. He also had all of his photos and film recordings edited to smooth out his face since it looked worse than Norv Fucking Turner's face due to having small pox as a child.

I'm listening to Kotkin's first volume right now. I don't have time to read heavier stuff like that for long periods now. So I listen while doing emails and routine tasks if not on the phone. The third (and final volume) is due out soon. He isn't nearly the writer that Caro is in terms of prose / story telling, but it's really good.

Just returned from Spring training. It was good. Been better if I didn’t have to deal with helpless family members where you have to plan everything for them, but still had a good time at the games. My son enjoyed the games, as well, which shocked me. Besides the Pirates, visited the Blue Jays in Dunedin which is a FL town that actually has a downtown, walking and bike paths, etc. Spent St Patty’s Day there and had a great time.

Having said that, I still couldn’t live in FL. It was March, high of 78, and the sun was still kicking my ass sitting there in the bleachers.
