I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

I'm not watching it but twitter is blowing up about Alex Murdaugh. Looks like he is going to get a new trial.

I just happened to watch the second season of the Netflix documentary about him. Becky Hill was a big part of that, and now she is the center of Alex trial going bad.

Netflix has to be thrilled that - another season will be served up for them

listening to the judge asking the questions, is appears Hill told the jurors to look at his body language to determine his guilt,

and when they went to deliberations she told them if they didn't finish by 11pm they would have to go to a hotel, smokers asked her if they could take a smoke break while deliberating and she told them no

I think in the documentary, it was her - maybe it was a court reporter - but someone said 1 juror held out briefly because she couldn't believe a father could kill his child, but she was convinced to vote guilty.

Today a single juror, a female, said her vote was influenced to guilty by the comments made by Hill

Hill also admitted a book she wrote (well, hired an author to write for her) was pulled from the shelves after she plagiarized content.

yeah, it's a mess. Her co-author pulled the books when he found out she plagiarized some of it. Funny thing is that it intrigued people more and the sales increased. He's vowed to send the proceeds to funds that help the financial victims.

I've been saying all along he didn't do it, but he knows who or what group did, and they did it right in front of him to send a message. He can't say anything because he'll know he'll be killed. He's doing his best to get off the murder charge without revealing the real killer.

It appears Alex took the stand in his own defense. Usually, when a person believes that they are innocent (or under the delusion of their innocence based on nothing other than gender and their motherhood like Elizabeth Holmes was), they are eager to take the stand even against the wishes of their own counsel. This may have happened in the Murdaugh case.

When a defendant takes the stand, I don't automatically assume that they are innocent. When they do NOT take the stand, I pretty much always assume they are guilty. Neither Casey Anthony, nor OJ, took the stand. I think we all know we fucked both of those up. Ghislaine Maxwell never took the stand, guilty. Lori Daybell never took the stand, guilty. Rittenhouse took the stand. Not-guilty. OJ playing the race aside, I think if it goes to trial you pretty much have to take the stand if you want any shot at a not-guilty verdict.

So is it possible he didn't do it? Yes I suppose that is possible even if, unlikely. Alex was a sleazeball but if he didn't do it and there are real murderers on the run then I am going to want a real MOTIVE for why they would do it. That said, I am very interested to see if Chad Daybell takes the stand in April.

The judge denied a retrial.

The judge reminded me of the SNL skit of “Pat”. The judges name is Jean. Still not sure which gender it is.

watching the second part of that documentary, Alex's son Paul the week before the murders went out on boat loaded up with booze and got caught. They had to call Alex and he said he'd take care of it, and he did pull some strings to keep it quiet.

I think he did it, I think that kid getting busted on a boat with alcohol after being responsible for the death of that girl pushed him over the edge. They were shot with guns he owned and a .300 blackout, while not rare by any stretch isn't a gun that you're going to hear about in a murder - unless you're hunting Osama Bin Laden. He shot his wife 4 times, once in the thigh , another in the abdomen, then a kill shot in the ribs while she was face down, and a final shot in the head. His motive was the kid was out of control, the mother was either aware or about to be aware he was embezzling

Whoever shot her wasn't someone who particularly astute at it.

Listen counsellor,

What I wrote is my opinion. Opinions are like assholes. We all have one. But at the moment, you are also acting like one. But I can also be an asshole.

We both know you aren't bright enough to practice REAL law. So, to make money, you bust up marriages and ruin families. That is probably the only law you know how to practice because that job is well formed enough that an "app" could do your job. Any time you want to take and IQ test, I'll sit down with you and I promise you, I'll score much higher than you. Then we'll see which one of us is stupid.

What about the Kentucky moms who claim to have been drugged in the Bahamas only to wake up with big black Bahamian mamba in 'em?
