Did they take Wade off the court in a neckboard?

If this were the Olympics, they'd be talking about Terry getting some redemption.

LeBron James has psyched himself out. He's just flat out flailing from the competition in the fourth. That said, Spoelstra is pretty poor head coach, especially on the offensive end. Very few people end up with the ball where they should have it in the fourth quarter.

You can't blame Chalmers because if that's the case then putt Bibby out there to run the point down the stretch. Not that it really matters. Unless it's coming out of a timeout, the Heat don't seem to really run any set plays to begin with. In the fourth quarter, it's one-on-one, hoping to draw a foul.

It's not working.

The Heat were running a layup line for most of the 4th quarter, that's how they got the lead back.

If they had stuck with what was working and made stops the game would have been a wrap. Can't blame the coaching for the players tightening up in the crunch.

That said, I think Dallas will have to go on a shooting spree a la game 4 versus the lakers in order to pull this out

The Heat have no half-court offense to speak of. Keep their transition game to a minimum and The Heat are pretty ordinary offensively. Their defense was not great last night either. Should be a great ending to the series on South Beach baby!

I would love to see a stat on how many shots Miami has made beyond 15 ft in this series, as opposed to Dallas. Wiz is right, keep MIA from running and out the paint and they are easily beatable.

Not many. When the Heat are hitting the outside j's...particularly the 3's they are damn near impossible to beat though. But they can't rely on that. They play great D normally and then win late with athleticism. Dallas has figured them out it looks like. Play zone...stop the break...double down low when needed...take your chances on the Heat making outside shots.

It must be the Mavs time, because LeBron is not himself....whether it is staged or not....something ain't right!

Oh yea..I do want the Mavs to win...I saw them back in '96 when they were a joke and grow to be what they are now....they are like a kid you see grow up before your eyes..

I sure hope the Raps do get Casey as a coach. Dallas has some decent defenders but they also have some very average defenders..... yet they look great in terms of team defense. I thought Miami would have exposed them but they havent.... agree with a lot of the last few posts.

The Heat hasn't looked dominating on offense in many of their games this year. It's dysfunctionality. They're very athletic, though, and play very good defense, which helps their offense some. Otherwise, it's difficult to watch, especially in the half-court.

Staged? Hmph, so Lebron "staged" flame outs in 2009, 2010 and 2011? At a certain point, you have to put credit where credit is due. Lebron's struggles are not because of some grand conspiracy. This dude is just built a certain way and going to Miami didn't solve it. No matter what happens in the rest of the series.

Duane Casey is an excellent coach. Not the greatest Xs and Os guy, but he's incredibly smart, prepared and is very good working with young players. Shit - he got Mark Blount to play hard...

He got totally torpedoed in MN by Garnett and Ricky Davis.

I read that Bron and Wade were mock-coughing and sneezing before game five, I guess on the assumption that the Diggler's injury and bug were overblown.

Yeah, like Wade has never exaggerated an injury etc.

When Jason Terry hit that clinching 3 pointer in Game 5 he should've hit the ground holding his eye and looking up at the ref...

LMAO

my take on celebrations is that they are okay when heading back to the sidelines or it's incorporated into you getting your ass back on defense.

the Jet wings gets a semi pass because at least dude is getting back on defense (but he cant see behind him)

hangin out in front of the opposing team's bench staring at your gooseneck arm & wrist follow through is weak sauce

I was going for Miami, but I find myself feeling really good for Dallas. For some reason their star players don't seem quite as emotional as past teams. Will they even pop champagne?
