Last 4 games:

51 and 14
30 and 21
28 and 11
40 and 19

He's at the point that 28/11 is kind of a disappointment...

2-2 (with a 3OT loss to OKC).

Losing Rubio and Pekovic has absolutely killed us. They're by far the 2nd and 3rd best players on the team and the only other legit starting players we have.

This season is a fucked up mess anyway. Tank the season and knowing those two will be back, secure a solid pick

It's not like they couldn't get away with it. Nobody pays attention to the NBA until late May anyway.

The Hornets have our pick. The only way we get a 1st rounder is if Utah makes the Playoffs.

Love became the first player in the 3 point era to lead the league in total points, total rebounds and made 3s for a single month.

He finished 37 points, 13 rebounds and 4 3s ahead of anyone else.

The thing I "love" about Love.... he puts up those gaudy numbers but he doesn't seem to need the ball nearly as long as the other superstars to do something similar. He's a blue collar guy with skill.

Yeah. He's definitely not a ball stopper on offense.

His post and midrange games are starting to come around, but he scores so many points on putbacks and trailing 3s. He also finally has a coach who realizes how devastating he can be rolling to the basket after setting a pick (unfortunately we lost our stud PnR PG to a knee injury).

From the AP:

Love is also sporting a new look, having shaved the scraggly beard he’s been growing all season. Coach Rick Adelman jokes that the All-Star power forward looks “about 12 years old.” Love says his estimate is closer to 18.

I didn't even recognize him....

I'm wondering if this is just some elaborate internet hoax. I'm struggling to find Kevin Love in there. His arms look like he's been playing basketball for a only a summer...and spent half that season skate boarding.

He did play this year about 20 pounds lighter than in the past by getting into really good shape for the first time in his life. And he had jaw surgery in the offseason and I don't think we've seen him w/o a beard since.

In an interview with Yahoo! Sports, Love urged Minnesota's management to acquire the necessary talent to make the franchise a contender. If the Timberwolves don't start winning this season, Love isn't sure how long he'll want to be a part of Minnesota's future.

"My patience is not high," Love said. "Would yours be, especially when I'm a big proponent of greatness surrounding itself with greatness? All these [Team USA] guys seem to have great players around them.

"It's tough seeing all these guys that are young and older who have all played in the playoffs. When they start talking about that, I have nothing to talk about. If I don’t make the playoffs next year I don’t know what will happen."

Love said he will continue to push Minnesota's management to add more pieces to the roster because T'wolves fans "deserve a better product."

"I don't know if we will blow up the team again, if I'll be moved," Love said. "I don’t know.

"But something has to happen in Minnesota."

same shyt happened when Bosh, Paul & Bron were in the Olympics

memo to small market owners : don't let your max players join Team USA, claim contractual obligation & injury concerns or whatever

If I'm Dan Gilbert, I want no part of Kyrie Irving going to London and spending all his downtime with these primadonnas

Love is 1000% correct.
