Well, I hope they move on & bring in fresh blood.

So, what's the 1-and-done final tally? Dook won it once and UK won it once since this shit started, what?, 10 years ago? Now everyone is 1-and-done it seems but not with freshmen. Better be able to work that portal if you want to win in college sport at any classification. Even the local D-II coaches here are dealing with that even in tennis and volleyball.

I'm still largely uninterested in college sports for that reason. Can't keep up with players. I didn't know but 2 UNC players on this team, just like the last few years. Bacot and Davis are all I know.

Still don't know if Hubie will be a good coach but he's gotten off to a good start. Still think Scheyer is a pretender. Let's see who UK can come up with. It'll be interesting to watch that process since they haven't had to hire a coach since way before the portal and NIL. Those blustery old UK booster dudes used to $100 handshakes are as confounded by this as they have been by cell phones and other modern inventions.

No way. Not saying he didn't make a bit more at UK than he would've at Memphis (but maybe not), but if he was getting to FF's (which he was already) and winning a title here and there, Memphis would've rewarded him handsomely. Nope, Cal made a deal with the devil, and that never works out for anyone but the devil. Took his $20 bill and vanished in the air...
