It wasn’t quite the blowout I expected. We appeared almost competent for awhile there.

Well, cheer up Bonfired. Your other team won.

Well, at least Auburn escaped the humiliation of the Birmingham Bowl.

Yes, the Weedeater Bowl set a very low bar of respectability for the Birmingham Bowl to limbo under.

Knowing Legion Field is a top notch destination with so much great history, The fine, upstanding people of Birmingham wish to thank you for your positive thoughts and well wishes.

Both of them.

Ah yes, Legion Field. I remember it well. I remember the upper deck swayed perceptibly during critical plays. I also remember parking my car in the surrounding neighborhoods, and wondering if I’d ever see it again.

That was between ‘78 and ‘82. Now that Birmingham made the top ten most dangerous cities in America, just having your car stolen means it’s your lucky day.

C

The "I wish you ______" paradigm requires you to wish for my death, or at the very least, severe injury.

That should be, "My lucky day would be your car stolen with you in the trunk and driven off a cliff..."

I can't keep doing your job for you.

Congrats to your MSL Champions, the Atlanta United! In a city with pro football, baseball, basketball (and sometimes hockey) franchises, this is only the second championship in its history. Ironic that it would happen right after the Falcon and Bulldog debacles of the past two years.

It may only be soccer, but Go Five Stripers!
